 Bob and Maggie Wilson own Morning Star Gallery in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Maggie opened the Gallery in May, 1985 after she served as the museum store manager at the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, FL for several years. Morning Star Gallery is a showcase of fine art and crafts by American artists. The gallery features the workmanship of well over one hundred artists who excel in their chosen disciplines.

Morning Star Gallery is an outlet for the beautiful and the inspired works of many hands. The gallery has been described as a “haven of beauty and creativity” by the Watercolor Society of North Carolina, and praised by Handmade in America for its “artfully arrayed and beautifully chosen collection”.

Southern fine art and American crafts dominate the scene, and quality, originality and creativity are the standards to which the gallery is dedicated. Art and crafts from the Gallery have been presented as gifts to kings and other dignitaries around the world. We hope that you, too, will enjoy the treasures from Morning Star Gallery.
